To get a sense of student life at MIT, you can meet with an athletic coach, attend a campus eventhave a meal on campus, or spend some time with a current student through our Shadow and Lunch programs. You can also explore one of MIT's museums or cultural events through the Office of the Arts.

Financial Aid Tracking

Regular Action applicants who complete their financial aid applications by February 15 will receive their financial aid awards shortly after admission decisions are made in mid-March. Check your MyMIT to track the status of your application.

Standardized Testing

For those students preparing to apply to MIT this fall or next spring, it's time to start thinking about standardized testing! Remember, MIT requires the ACT or the SAT, in addition to two SAT Subject Tests in math and science. For SAT resources and registration deadlines, visit the College Board.

Attend a Class

To experience the academic side of MIT, you are welcome to attend an approved undergraduate class. Please see our Academic Calendar to see when classes are in session.

Life @ MIT

Every interested MIT student can request between $1,000 and $25,000 from the Sandbox Innovation Fund Program to explore taking a project from idea to reality. Watch as Ian A. Waitz, dean of MIT's School of Engineering, walks you through what Sandbox is all about.
